Premier Jay Weatherill has flown out of Adelaide to China with the largest delegation of South Australian business leaders to visit the country on a Government trip. Mr Weatherill will visit the world’s second largest economy to spruik the state’s agribusiness, tourism and food and wine industries.
“They are our largest, by value, tourism income group so they have more visitor nights and they spend more money than any other group of people anywhere else in the world, so China’s tourism is absolutely crucial for us,” he said.
