Adelaide Dancer Rosalie Cocchiaro’s company Flamenqueando Productions formed in 2014 after she returned from living and performing in Madrid Spain for 10 years. The company’s first show ‘Flamenqueando’ won the Adelaide Fringe dance award in 2014 and were Fringe Dance finalists for their show ‘Tablao’ in 2016. In 2015 they were selected through the Honey Pot Scheme to tour China and in 2016 they returned to perform at the Inaugural Shanghai Fringe Festival and the closing of the Shanghai Film Festival. This year the company will include such artists as acclaimed international Flamenco singer Naike Ponce (Cadiz Spain), Aria nominated guitarist Damian Wright (Bandaluzia), Jessica Statham, named one of Dance Australia Magazine’s most outstanding dancers 2013, brilliant jazz percussionist James Hauptmann (James Morrison, Vince Jones) and breathtaking Adelaide violinist Victoria Phillips (Adelaide Conservatorium of Music).
