Astronomical Society of South Australia

The Astronomical Society of South Australia is the oldest society of its kind in Australia. It is the only representative body for amateur astronomy in this State and has around 500 members. The Society occupies a number of permanent observatories in South Australia that house some of the largest telescopes in the state, and can bring smaller telescopes to schools and groups venues.
